You can customize the event description to really sell your event and tell people the most important information they need to know. Be sure to include a detailed description, and include FAQs like transportation, contact information, and refund policy. From your event's details section, locate the "Event Description" add your event description there.


Note: Please note that event descriptions with more than 1,000 words perform better for SEO, so we strongly recommend adding a detailed text-based description rather than relying only on images or flyers with heavy text. Typing out your event information helps your event appear better on search engines like Google and other platforms, improving discoverability and reach. Kindly avoid using images that contain a lot of text, as they are not readable by search engines. Additionally, please ensure that no emojis or special characters are used in the event description, as these can cause formatting or system issues. Following these guidelines will help improve your event visibility and ensure smooth publishing on the platform. 


Steps to follow: 


1. Login or sign-in to your Townscript account.




2. Go to the desired events details menu in which you want to add/change the description.



Now you will be directed to the event management page.


3) Click on Description Tab on this page and then click on Edit Description button




4) Enter your Event Description in the text-box and click on the Submit button.




Note: You can add Images, Links, Videos and more types of content in your description.

Your description is updated to your event page. You can check this on the event page.
